Your role is to coordinate construction activities, supervise work teams and ensure that everything runs smoothly. You are the master who ensures that our projects are completed on time, to the highest standards and in complete safety.

As a Project Coordinator at CAM, you will act as a true right-hand person to the Project Manager, providing essential support in the coordination and monitoring of construction projects. You will play a key behind-the-scenes role in ensuring the smooth execution of operations.
Job Description:
  • Review and analyze plans, specifications, and contractual documents to fully understand project requirements.
  • Assist the Project Manager with planning, organization, schedule tracking, payment applications, budget monitoring, and subcontract agreements, among other tasks.
  • Coordinate communications between internal teams, professionals, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure administrative follow-up of projects, including documentation, shop drawings, directives, change orders, and purchase orders.
  • Support the Project Manager in managing project issues and risks.
  • Prepare internal progress reports and ensure clear and efficient information flow within the team.
  • Participate in internal coordination meetings and support the Project Manager in decision-making.

Profile required:

  • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) or equivalent education in a related field.
  • Experience in project coordination or in a support role within construction project management.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications (considered an asset).
  • Proficiency with computer tools, including Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing or unexpected situations.
